Major disaster... I didn't visit two controls....
up to fifth control all was ok, just before the 6th I lost the map contact, 2-3min lost, somewhat stressed I found the 6th control.
But now the REAL problems starts: leaving the 6th control I started to read from the 8th: came to the trail and headed WEST. I was supposed to see a few bends but didn't, so continued WEST-wards to find a safe attackpoint. Very surprised I came to a asphalt road! I was obviously north-west of the 8th control, the only viable explanation I could come up with was contra direction.: I thought I must have run contra direction from 8th : the obvious decision was to to head directly to the 9th contol. I remeber looking at the watch west of 8th thinking that was a 5 min thingy but not a catastrophy. The rest of the course went well. We would have finished 24 of 65 teams *IF* I didnt mess up things. Really sorry team!
